Does anyone know anything about the Aviator drone?

I bought parts for a quad from the company called Aviator second hand. On the actual motors, they say 2016 and they are brushed DC motors with 9 inch props. They generate 130g of thrust at 7.5v(2S battery). Does anyone know anything about this drone?

I can also attach photos with the motors and props. I need to identify the exact motor model since one motor made a short-circuit.

I found out it is called the Aviator Explorer. I still can't find anything about the motors though.

Hmm, doesn’t really sound like a motor problem, maybe send pics of that motor?

The motor is basically stuck. And when I tried to connect it, a diode exploded.

I just tried again with the motor but this time it worked at first, but after a few throttles it gave up again.

Hmmm. Date code on the motor looks like it is from 2016. Probably going to be tough finding new parts for it. Might be best to search for a donor or get something completely different.

You might have to replace all 4 motors. At least DC brushed motors are cheap.

I would think so, as you've got a reduction gearbox.
