Nice review guys, and would like to say great site as well. Those look nice, I like the hinges and the digital servos. I did not hear a release date, any ideas???

Thanks in advance.

Great Ep guys, very funny. Cool looking planes, and the hinges are a massive plus on a plane that size. Although sad to see David go home.

Are these different from the current run of Fun Fighters on the HobbyKing site - specifically in the USA warehouse? Can anyone tell us the differences if so?

In trying to visually compare the Rare Bear models, I see a different colored spinner and the one in the USA warehouse has a pilot. That's about it. The spinner is white in the video & black on the Fun Fighter in the HK USA store.
I can't tell if there are hinges on the Rare Bear's ailerons or not in the HK USA warehouse, and of course, no telling about whether they're digital servos from the product page because they are not described as such.
Here's the current Rare Bear in the USA warehouse:

I could only find the Edge 540 in the international warehouse, and it's noted as V3 (version 3) and has digital servos detailed in the specs & everything. This one has to be the same as the one in the video.

Since the Joshes say the ones in this video are pre-release models, I figure there's more of a difference between them - atleast between the Rare Bear in the video and whatever the pre-release one is. (I believe the 540 is the pre-release already, since it's not yet available in the USA warehouse) They couldn't have filmed this episode THAT long ago, right? Help!

I was thinking about getting one of the USA warehouse Fun Fighters, but if there is a newer version of them coming, I might prefer to hold out...

Really enjoyed that, fab episode.. David is a legend, Bless Josh for not slapping him, you should have a tri-copter slap bet, I'm sure David would win that! :p Loved the comedy, keep it coming.

Yeah- pretty sure they are different. The FunFighters are SkyAngel planes.

Durafly is HobbyKing's "inhouse" Could still be produced by the same manufacturer, but I don't think so...

Very Nice Job Guys... I am beginning to think that Josh Scott may be a little mischievous. We was having way to much fun with the shockers... Sorry to see David have to leave, but it won't be that long before he is back again. I think that this was just about the Most "Shocking" Episode in a while.... :)
