Nice! Yah, you'd be surprised at how many EAA and AMA clubs get/work together. Just last year, our club was invited to help at a local EAA event at a private airfield to fly demos, setup a tent, etc.

In our case, it was interesting to watch RC helis demo in between flights of full scale helis. One interesting thing, one of our demoers was going to demonstrate his DJI Inspire, but he couldn't get it to take off... because we were at a known airport, and the software wasn't updated at that time to allow for an override.

What coincidence? Anyone else signup for the EAA membership promotion offer sent out by the AMA? I couldn't resist, as I was thinking of doing to anyway after joining in an open house event my club was invited to at this local EAA chapter:

I've been an EAA member for (probably) close to 10 years. The extra content on the EAA website alone is worth the membership fee, and I like being part of a chapter (252 in Oshkosh :D.)
