EDF glider

Hey people of the flite test forum, I am thinking about trying to build an EDF motor glider, what are your thoughts and more importantly is it possible?

Yes. An EDF glider is extremely possible and fun. Here's mine. Its a hobbyking Pearl glider.

It still glides and flies like a glider should but also sounds cool at WOT and goes like a rocket.
The only thing it lacks is throttle response but on a glider I don't think that's a problem.
I say go for it !

Definitely possible. HobbyKing's Durafly Zephyr is a neat one.

I'd like to build a high-wing version of the Zephyr, but I have 5 other projects to complete before I start thinking seriously about it.

It does create a bit of drag but I think that's offset from the extra weight and speed that it flys at.
