I do work with one a plan..
1- easy to build
2- one who its easy mount the EDF, any, just change size on plans for the EDF type. ( eg. 64mm EDF = 920mm fuselage lenght. 50mm EDF = 780mm fuselage length)
easy even change EDF.
3- no need of extra thrust-tube.
4- no worries about servos to any controlsurface interfere with EDF intake/outlet airstream .
5- wing / wingpart thick enough , possible to mount servoless retracts if want.
6- build with conventional tailfin, or v- tail.
7- good enough space for battery, reciver, even gyro, fpv, eg.
8. mid - or highwinged for better stability.
