EDFs for f-18

So, I have 3 master series planes under my belt so to speak and have decided to do the f-18. I have never done EDFs. I am just ordering the EDFs from Amazon ( the recommended ones)
Do I purchase just 1 ESC or do both EDFs need 1. Do you do differential thrust with EDFs?
