Edge 540 over weight?

Finishing up my first build the edge 540 and the spec sheet calls for a dry weight of 680g mine is coming in close to 780g. If i fly with no landing gear I could save 40g. Had anyone weighed there's and come out over? How will it affect flight?

Basically..... the heavier the faster it will have to fly in all aspects of the flight envelope.

You will be fine, I agree with @Bricks. Just remember the old saying

Keep thine airspeed up lest the ground rise up and smite thee.

3.5 ounces no big deal. will equate to a small increase in throttle. Mine is probably a 'pig', cause I painted, added decals, aluminum gear etc. Pending maiden flight.

Looks awesome yes I am waiting for a nice day for maiden. Good luck. Will weight mine tomorrow now that it is complete.

Hi guys,

Mine flew for the first time yesterday afternoon. I was also worried, because its weight in flight order is 1050gr (2.3 lbs). But this plane is awesome, the overweight does not bother. Despite the crosswind, it flies like on rails. Although the center of gravity noted on the drawing has been respected, it seems to me "tail heavy". But, the stall is very smooth, and the spins are a treat.
