EDGE 540

Sorry if I copied or made any details to the FT EDGE 540, this is my own design I made off it though. This has a wingspan at least 2ft long, 2ft long fuselage too.

i designed this to work and look like the FT EDGE 540 with a few easier peices to make and smaller electronics to use as well.

Definitely small, looks good though 👍. Just curious, will the wing actually just be a single layer of foam?

Layer of tape, just one strip, both sides of the wing ought to be enough to keep if from folding, kinda.

Yes, it does have a single foam piece wing but it's supposed to be reenforce with either a BBQ skewer or a 1ft carbon tube

It does help a lot though, I did that once with a delta wing, and it was able to take a lot more G’s.

Most of my rc jets are like that too but they can use there wings without cutting a slot for a carbon tube or BBQ skewer, thus, making them withstand lighter wing mass and better float cush if they flex even a Lil

Carbon tube is expensive overkill, but yuppa that does it also. Does mean you have to do odd stuff to mount it

Keep it under a pound and dont pull +/- 5 G and should be ok.

The edge 540 wings are made with the center deck of the fuselage (underneath the canopy) pretty much one piece
