I did that once, but the esc exploded shooting capacitor fibers all into my hand.

Didn’t hurt, but took a while to get them out, had to use baking soda mixed with water to turn it into a paste.

Yes they do, but this probably hurt my ears more than it did my hands, it might as well have been a gun considering how loud it was.

I renumber the first time I got a motor I didn't know you had to plug it into channel 3 and plugged it into channel 1 (with the prop on......Inside.....sitting right next to it.....LOL) That made me jump!)

Yup, I did.😂 And if I hadn’t done that, it would’ve been my 5th flight ever!😂. I guess I didn’t know what I was doing at the time.

I was up at Edgewater a few years ago when they were flying the giant paper airplane. Got this RAW video with my crappy old runcam. Tried to capture the elevation changes in the video. It is not always obvious in the videos they post.
