I think it would be nice to see a review of the eFlite Opterra - perhaps as a comparison to the X8 that was done some time back?

Thanks to that video, I went out and bought an Opterra this morning as soon as the LHS opened. They only had one BNF left, but I grabbed it anyway. I'll stick one of my D4R-IIs in there until I can get my hands on an L9R.

I needed a replacement for my BNV, anyway. She's a bit bigger than my Arrow, LOL.


And a Tiny Whoop to demonstrate the size of the fuse cavity.

I've had my opterra for a little while now and it got so heavy it became dangerous to throw and I cut my finger so I decided to put some landing gear on it. It took me about a week to design and 3D print landing gear that worked. I also added a speed break cuz that thing never wants to slow down especially for landing. let me know what you think. The landing gear retracts and I was able to install it without drilling any holes into the aircraft it's just glued straight to the bottom with a whole bunch of glue. I was really surprised at the stock antenna I have better antennas on my Tiny Whoops.
