Eflite P-51B Platinum ARF Kit w/ electric retracts

So this will be my build log of sorts for my first Balsa/Wood ARF Kit.

I was up at the CPAA Swap Meet today with Wilsonman and Earthsciteach and well I couldn't turn down this deal. Complete in the box with electric retracts P-51B from Eflite. All that out the door was $250. Wilsonman helped seal the deal for me. I think I have the motor and ESC for the more powerful setup they recommend but I need to buy some servos. Here are a bunch of pictures after I snuck it into the house while the wife took a nap.......



So now I have some work to do. I do plan on running the optional working bomb drops and fuel tank releases into this build. I might even look into a sound system for this. The kit has a few spots that need some tlc from and iron so the bubbles go away. I am super excited at the moment. I can believe I got this kit for $250.

Nice score! I was there today too and picked up a few kits really cheap. How big is the mustang?

The kit is a 52 inch (1320mm) wingspan and 45.5 inches (1160mm) in length
