electrohub not working!!!!

I just finished building my electrohub kit with my power pack from rtf quads. soldered everything in right with the power distribution board and I wired everything correctly but for some reason when I try to arm it id doesn't want to work. I have the 30a esc's, the witespy red special motors, flip 1.5 board and a 3s 2200 MAH lipo. I am also using a tactic ttx600 transmitted with a tr625 receiver.
has anyone else had the same problem?

heres a video for a closer look, you can see I try to arm the motors and nothing happens. also there is just a red like glowing in the control board the whole time, im not sure if its supposed to but that might help

Have you set your endpoints on your TX? Not sure if you can with that TX...if not you may have to edit the config.h and reflash your board with arduino (assuming you're using a flip since you said you got your electronics from RTFQ.)

Can you hook the board up to the MW config program and see what kind of max/min values you're getting on each of your RX channels - if it's not going low enough you won't be able to arm.

Also, I know that the KK boards, you need to set how the board is armed. Maybe its waiting for arming via a switch and not the TX?

The KK´s are armed with a throttle stick movement in zero position, as most fc´s I have heard of (or both sticks like Naza). It is the SL activation you can put on a switch, or on the stick, on the KK...

Second the advice to download the correct version of MultiWii Config GUI and check what values are being seen by the FC from your transmitter. If your channel endpoints don't go far enough, the FC will not think that your throttle is not all the way down and won't let you arm.

I believe that the Flip is currently being shipped with MW version 2.3, so that's the version of the MW Config GUI you should grab. I think that you also need to install the Arduino IDE to get the right driver for the board.

Flip 1.5 for dummies

A good reference for what the other guys are talking about is on you tube search "Flip 1.5 for Dummies " it walks you through the download and setup of the MultiWii GUI and Arduino plus the setup of the flight controller.

I am having similar problems as well....

I have used the GUI - which shows gyro, etc working, but nothing on the sticks. The Config utility does not recognize or see anything.

I have tried different end points on the the settings of my Tx.

I have tried binding two different receivers. Still no luck.

I ordered the Flip 1.5 for the spyder configuration.

I am using a Dx7s and a AR8000 Rx.

Silly question, but the servo leads between the rx and flip1.5/flight controller are in the correct orientation on both sides right? Sometimes, it's easy to flip one end or another. Likewise, the rx shows a good bind, right?

I don't have the same tx but I am not sure you are leaving the rudder in the lower right position long enough to arm the motors. You need to leave the rudder position in the lower right position until the blue light on the flip 1.5 turns on. It usually only takes a few seconds.

Give that a try and see if the blue light comes on and stays on. To disarm the motors it is lower left rudder for the same amount of time.

Could it be that the rudder servo direction needs to be reversed? Not sure about that one, but if nothing else works, you could try that as well.

I hope it works for you.

You see the ACC and GYR working, so you know that MWconfig is talking to the board. That's good.

I have tried different end points on the the settings of my Tx.

Even with default endpoint settings, you should see the inputs moving in MWconfig GUI when you move the sticks. If all the inputs are at 1500, the FC is not getting input from the receiver.

I have tried binding two different receivers. Still no luck.

Un-plug one of the channels from the receiver and plug a servo into it. Move the corresponding stick and see if the servo moves. This confirms that the receiver is correctly bound, is receiving signal from the TX, and is passing the signal through.

If that works, the issue is down-stream of the receiver. Confirm that all leads from the receiver to the FC are plugged in correctly (right pins, right orientation).

Got it working...

Thanks for the replies fellas!

Got my setup working.... and was in the air this afternoon. I did re-bind the AR600 Rx and also replugged my wires. I could have a bad Rx and also could have had a wire crossed. It works now! :)

I guess I had just to sleep on it, dream a bit, and then come at it with a new perspective.
