Solved electronics for school rc club

Hello I am trying to start an RC club at my school where we build RC planes and I want some recommendations for what batteries/motors/ESCs I should use. I don't have much experience building powered RC planes (I've only built one RC plane and it didn't fly well) so any advice would really help.

What size planes do you want to do? Are these meant to be beginner friendly I am assuming? How big of an area do you have to fly at?

probably like average sized planes which can fly very slowly which are easy to fly without a gyro. there is a somewhat small field at our school which is most likely where we would fly.

Have you gotten permission from the school administration? Also do you live in the US?

You can start here:
Flite Test STEM
Flite Test Store - STEM/STEAM
Flite Test Store - STEM - Lessons & Classroom Kits
Flite Test Store - STEM - EZ Planes
Flite Test Store - STEM - Popular Kits
Flite Test Store - STEM - STEM Gliders

Also: Institutions & Educators may be of interest to you.

The STEM gliders are a good way to get started.
EZ planes are a good next step.

Good beginner planes:
Tiny Trainer
Tiny Trainer Value Bundle
Tiny Trainer Complete Starter Bundle

Mini Explorer

I hope this helps!

for what I'm thinking to do with the club is try to design our own scratch builds but I am unsure what electronics I should use for a slow single motor plane with a wingspan of about 30in-48in

Great find Mr Man! I recommend this one over the other one as it has 2 more servos and they are better servos (the ones I got my brother for Christmas, the main gear is metal and the rest of the gears look stronger than the blue servos gears) also the props look a lot stronger! And you are supporting a private person/small business:)

looks really good although the battery connecter on the esc is pretty rare on new batteries
