Elevon Setup on flying wing

I have a flying wing that is setup with elevons on channels 1 and 2 (right stick). I would like to have the elevons on the left stick (throttle stick) but keep the elevator on the right stick. I am using an FS-i6x radio and FS-iA6B receiver.

Out of curiosity, why would you want that? The wing's roll would be worked off of what would essentially be the rudder, but the pitch off of the right stick? Are you trying to get into the habit of flying in a different mode? Your setup sounds very familiar to a Mode 4 setup, where throttle and ailerons are set up on the left stick, and elevator and rudder are on the right.

The elevens are acting like ailerons and elevator, so I would stick to both on the right stick (mode 2) or both on the left stick (mode 1)

My thought too - not sure why you'd want to have elevons separated out into elevators and ailerons in what would essentially be a mode 4 configuration, on a flying wing? Might be something that you want, so that it flies differently and you want a challenge, but it seems a little odd to me...

I agree with @GliderFlyer, the Vtail option will accomplish what you want. You will need to move one servo from the aileron to the rudder channel, I believe it’s channel 4.

An alternative, add a mix, make the rudder the master and aileron the slave. This would allow you to use either the aileron stick or the rudder stick.

Go and switch your “sticks mode” to mode four. This was a mistake I had made on some of my first planes, I had it in mode four when it should have been in mode two. Just sayin, 2 I s a lot easier

You Nailed it. I learned to fly on my own and have always used the left stick (throttle stick) for my channel 4 ailerons. Just feels more normal for me. I am trying to learn how to fly the wing on the right stick but not sure if the plane can take the learning curve. I had a few kind of successful flights this weekend.

I've search a few youtube videos on this but could not figure it out.

@jack10525 - what is your transmitter, and what mode is your transmitter in now (I suspect mode 2)?

Manually copy (replicate) the elevon mix data to channels 2 and 4 and you will be good to go - elevon mixing is pretty easy (sign out if you need help)!

Do not know anything about the i6x radio can you assign channels on the transmitter? If so the problem is solved, just assign aileron to the rudder channel.
