hey guys have you seen the new ESC from emax.. looks like they are going for one that will benefit there pretty red bottom motors. ( they are really nice motors, from aesthetics to construction.. they just feel good all around. warm fuzzy emax hugs. heh)
they are calling it the "Lightning" which is not so original either am I tho. here is a link with all the specs, seems they will blast onto the market at the end of june.. unless active breaking was left on at there marketing department. anyhow, if there experience pushing the red bottom motors to market shows us what to expect a new product coming to market with emax. we will be able to get them with out scalpers etc which is always nice to be able to get a product you want to try.. especially a new one that comes to market with out having to sell your unborn kid and new product tax from scalpers
http://www.emaxmodel.com/esc/lightning-30a-esc.html looks like around 14.00 a pop.

4. Supports active braking
5. FW upgradable via signal wire
6. Anti-counterfeit code of authenticity
7. Supports up to 4S High Voltage (4.35v max per cell)

i was looking to buy some 30a esc for my trifecta project and stumbled onto these.
I figure i will use three of them on the tricopter build, the 4th will be a spare in case i get a dud ( I learn this lesson the hard way, even tho it still seems like a waste of money to buy a 5th.. but a dud in my current build has shown me the light. gives the DYS SN the evil eye. heh)
and the 4th one ill use on a FT mini arrow.
