EPS Hot wire cutter system and additional direction to go with building.

I did some brainstorming last night and developed a new system for hinges. I laminated two layers of Doculam on both sides of some card stock, scuffed them up and did them up on the laser cutter. They are strong and can be installed with gel CA, wood glue, epoxy, etc., I'll be using them on this wing and I may be including them in all of my kits. I include the 3d printed in ASA control horns already, I just wished I got some feedback from the people using them or are afraid of using them because they are not used to 3d printed control horns.

The new hinges worked out well, easy to install with gel CA and regular wood glue.

I put together a 28" hot wire bow/cutter for the all purpose format. This gives me more control for better precision. I will be adding onto it for connecting it to my laser cutter for a one axis control, for now it's just fine running it manually.

Additional topic.
The box that my last stock of balsa came in, I took an amusing use of part of it converting it to a crude wing that I'll be flying on my Slow Stick platform. It's meant to be simple, crude, just raw, and functional. I will be hot gluing on a cheap servo to run the aileron, one only needs one technically for control and have some fun with it.

I'm sharing the first cuts done up with the new bow. It's reduced the sanding nicely, almost looks like it was done up with a cnc hot wire cutter and I know I'm going to get feedback from people thinking it was not done with a manual hot wire bow. Improvements in quality and the rest will continue like I do with all things, the new bow was a great addition to help along the way for this. I have a lot of practice using it, which is key for better results.
