I really like the animations fusion 360 lets you do. To me it's way clearer than pictures and instructions.

For the 2nd y axis did you just use a splitter cable to route in the 2nd motor?
And in lazerweb is it possible to only generate the gcode once or do you have to do it the old way because right now I use a tool that does it all at once.

The CNC shield has one red socket that can be slaved to move with the Y axis by putting in jumpers on the board. Laserweb lets you select different layers or colors and have different speeds and cut depths then process to gcode all at once.

The plans are a raster image intended for printing only. (IP protection)
If you want to cnc the plans you'll need to trace them manually with vector software.

I use InkScape to trace the plans. I even trace the open plans so I can optimize the cut.

I use lightburn. There are several options available to use the raster images which may require some manual work, but work very well.

I hope so to, I should be able to drive by then. I just turned 16 a month ago so if my parents cant bring me then I can finally drive myself!

With the ERC added I'd run out of room in the shop to paint inside. Never one to leave well enough alone I built a vacuum table for the ERC and lid big enough to cover everything then mounted an exhaust fan and filter in the exterior wall. Best of both worlds!

I modified the gear a little to allow for more travel - not really necessary

I modified the gear to give the head more travel. Thanks to zero_o for a great design.

Here's how it mounts - top tooth on the gear engages in the top slot of the rack.

Thanks I got mine figured out, I am slowly starting the reassembly, the guy that I bought it from got a tap stuck in the 20x 40 extrusion so I have to get that out to make it nice but I a making progress, I am hopping to get it finished before I go back to school in a week. And for the dual stepper it is just soldered into the same wire as the other y stepper, thanks

Have you had issues with your cutter head bending mine makes beautiful cuts diagonal and in 2 directions but in the other 2 it bends abck and forth. Also what flywheel is that I cannot find the file again. Thanks!
