ESC flashing tool build

I remember a while back you guys at FT talking about maybe making a video on how to flash the simonk firmware to esc's - maybe in the tricopter episode. Anyway, I am probably going to be making some multirotors soon and want to know how to make one of these flashing tools. Once again, FT great job on keeping us informed and entertained about the RC world!

Making your own is certainly cheaper and quicker. But it can also be a real pain. I opted to buy one off ebay. Search for Atmel Atmega Socket Firmware Flashing Tool.
It works with ESCs with or without programming pads.
