F405 Wing FC banks and cuts power when put into Horizon mode or Acro mode

This is a bit confusing. Yesterday I flew my F405 fc/stratosurfer configuration and everything worked as expected--horizon kept it tight and level. Without changing any settings I took it out again this morning, but found that when I switched out of Manual to Horizon or Acro the plane banked to right and (I believe) cut throttle. I had very little control until I switched back into manual. Before the flight I had checked gyros (perfect), control surfaces (perfect), and I checked the fc inside the plane (solid). I double checked the fc after landing and it was, indeed flat and solid in the plane. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I can't imagine what would have changed from yesterday to today (no crashes or anything). Edit: I believe I did have Loiter on when I switched to Horizon. does Loiter override Horizon? Seems like it didn't yesterday. I wish I would have thought to check.

That is rather odd. Try making sure the plane is level when you plug it in and while it is initializing. That "shouldn't" matter, but it is possible that the gyro/accelerometer is getting a bias during startup.

I took my flight controller out and recalibrated it. In INAV the plane did look off by several degrees (to the right). I had to run through calibration twice before I got it level. I took the surfer out tonight and it flew beautifully in manual and Horizon. I hope it will stay calibrated. It's such a graceful airplane and yet plenty fast and nimble enough.
