Fatshark Predator V2 combo vs Dominator 3rd Gen

I've setup the HK 900MHz fpv kit on my tricopter. Right now I'm viewing the output on my laptop with a USB Tv Tuner. My father and I've decided to get a pair of goggles. I've been considering these two:

Predator v2 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/..._FPV_Headset_System_w_Camera_and_5_8G_TX.html

Dominator 3rd gen http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...inator_3rd_Generation_modular_FPV_System.html

With the predators, they mention no headtracking. Does this mean no headtracking included or no headtracking support at all? And is head tracking really that convenient that I should consider it right now?
With the predators will I be able to swap out the receiver for anothe 5.8g module?

What are the things I should look at before making a decision on these?

Thanks for any help :)

Good choices. I also am switching from 900 mhz to the 5.8 Fat Shark system. I decided to go with the full combo, with the intention of using the Predator headset as my passenger one later, when I upgrade to a different set of goggles. This way I can see what I like about the "entry level" ones before deciding on a higher end set.

As I understand it, none at all.

And is head tracking really that convenient that I should consider it right now?

I think it depends on the application. I wouldn't use it on a multirotor myself. I think it would lead to a lot of disorientation, but that's just me. On an airplane, I would. The airplane is only going to fly in one direction, so being able to look around shouldn't be quite as troublesome as being able to look left, right and behind, and having an aerial platform that can fly those directions as well, but not be going "forward" as your view might suggest.

With the predators will I be able to swap out the receiver for anothe 5.8g module?

Why would you switch from one 5.8 ghz system to another? They have the option of using a 2.4 ghz receiver instead of the 5.8 ghz I do not think they have a plug in receiver for 900 mhz.

What are the things I should look at before making a decision on these?

Consider that one is just the "ground station" and viewing system. (The Dominators) and the other is the full kit, camera, transmitter, receiver and viewing system. If you go with the Dominators, and you intend to use them as a wireless system, you need to buy a matching 5.8 ghz transmitter.

Also your range is going to be somewhat limited with the stock antennas. The circular polarized ones will give you some better range, and will help with some of the issues inherent with 5.8 ghz signals.

Also, will I be able to fit the camera that comes with the predator on this mount? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__39697__FatShark_FPV_Pan_Tilt_Mount_w_9g_Servos.html

I believe it's designed exactly for that camera.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain! I've been thinking about it all day, talked to my father about the pricing and have slowly been drifting towards the Predators. Maybe someday upgrade to the dominators. All this while, HK had only the Dominators in stock and today I saw the predators back.
I have the antenna elements ready for my 900, just need sma connectors and some cables. For the 5.8 I could get them or maybe make them.
I believe I could use my current receiver and plug the video out into either of these goggles?
And I perfectly understand your point about the orientation problem- makes sense now. Maybe if there was some centering option, it might have been of help. Nevertheless. With the 250mW VTx and my Futaba 8fg or 8j, what kind of range am I looking at?
