FB Travel Air Mystery Ship

So here goes. I received the AMA plans today for the 1929 Travel Air Mystery Ship for a balsa build. I realized that the Master Series techniques could work for a mock-up. So, might as well give it a try. I will try to document as I go, but it’s my first attempt at translating balsa plans to FB. So, let the experience begin. Oh, and thank you Pancho Barnes and all of the test pilots who paved the way for us to be here.

So the wing is done and ready for servo installation. Time to figure out formers for the fuselage.

Looks good @Tr33s !! You're well beyond me at this stage....

I started a thread a while back to do the same plane:

https://forum.flitetest.com/index.php?threads/ftfc20-travel-air-mystery-ship-by-basslord1124.60278/

I've accumulated a few plans to try out, but haven't done any cutting yet. Had some personal stuff going on that took up a lot of my time. A few folks found some other resources there from other members who have done the same plane and posted it in my thread. So if you need any extra help or assistance check out my thread and the other threads/resources that were posted. Good luck and have fun! Can't wait to see how yours turns out!
