I was cruising through autozone.com looking for inspiration and I saw this plane originally called The Flying washboard and my mind immediately screamed, "that needs to be foam board!"

https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=3415

I took my lunch hour to drop plans there was quick and simple it's a very straightforward design. In front of that out and mounted it to foam when work was done I cut it out in about 15 minutes.

Add another 10 for getting out the tape and putting the tape on. Mounting a power pod and landing gear I had an ARF.

Well, it's certainly different! Now where does the pilot sit, and where do I put my groceries?

Are you planning to build a full-sized ultralight one already! I'm flattered. (also not recommended... yet.)

with any luck this is how it should fly:

and if that's how you want to tool around Go for it. to-date I have Beta Plans linked above

As the video mentioned .. it is wise to install some bbq skewers front he motor mount to the wing. (Which is now stronger and repaired.)

Hey I ran across this and thought it looked familiar. It is the Zerbe Sextuplane. As far as I can tell it did not fly but no one paid the ultimate price to find out. Its hard to find info on old stuff like this. He also built a Quintoplane with what looks like counter-rotating props, and that might just be the answer here. Your maiden video looked like it was rolling pretty extreme, but gliding fine, so maybe its a torque problem?

SO Awesome! to think their idea would have worked with more horsepower and less weight

Great find. Thank you.

Since you fly with rudder and thrust, would be very interesting if a set of elevons on the tail end of bottom wing was added. Plus and minus trim could be added to elevator portion(flap) to explore good stability in winds.

I am sure the tail controls would help this craft greatly. It will be the next step if the re-maiden doesn't work.
