Help! Fiberglass Confusion

I loved the FT fiberglass video, and want to fiberglass a FT mighty Mini Arrow, but I have no idea how much or what fiberglass and epoxy to use or what thickness... If it is possible I would like it to keep the cost under $30. Also are there any cheaper ways to achieve the same durability?

Well first of I dont think u will be able to keep everything under 30 dollars unless u will be buying everything from Temu....and u could do for a 2 Oz fiberglass or go a bit lighter and go for a 1.5 Oz fiberglass and as for epoxy I think u might be able to get away with any decent/cheap one u find at ur local hardware store !

I don't do a lot of fiberglass but when I do fiberglass I use polyurethane instead of epoxy.
It's the same poly used for wood working. It's cheaper, easier to work with & widely available at your local store.
One quart of poly will cover many planes.

Done correctly, it is about twice to 4 times the volume of paint used for the same square footage. Need vacuum bagging though

I dont think so a lot of people dont use vacuum bagging.

I don't think so.....u really should go and watch some YouTube videos on fiberglassing

Look dont make this so complicated for yourself I say just buy a fiberglass kit and just call it a day.

A fiberglass kit with fiberglass cloth, epoxy some gloves and brushes and anything else u would need.

If u are trying to go extreme budget mode go get a repair kit from amazon for cheap.

I'm no fiberglass expert. But for covering a plane, the fiberglass in a car repair kits is going to be far too heavy. It's going to be at least 2 oz maybe heaver.

You are going to want something like 1/2 oz fiberglass.

That might be the case but thats the fiberglass they used in the FT video they used 2 oz fiberglass.
