I'm starting my video thread with my first build and add more as soon as I uploaded them on My Channel.

I hope you will have at least as much fun watching as I had while flying, recording, editing a of corse crashing!

Feedback and suggestions are warmly welcomed!


The FT Mini Scout
All videos got recorded in February and March 2017.

FT Mini Scout - Erstflug^2
This is the Maiden of my FT Mini Scout.
It's my first RC flight ever!
Too much wind and a hard winter surface is not a good combination for a student pilot.
Fortunately this plane takes a lot of damage and is easy fixable.

FT Mini Scout - 3rd flight
This is the 3rd flight of my FT Mini Scout.
It's my 3rd ever RC flight as well. I think I'm doing well. Not so much crashing anymore.

FT Mini Scout - FPV Test
This is my first FPV test.
The receiver antenna needs to be replaced to get a clearer picture without bad distortion.

FT Mini Scout - Spring (with onboard camera!)
This is the final Video of my FT Mini Scout.
It's the first RC plane I've ever built and flown. And it's a perfect first plane. After countless crashes and after about a whole stick of hot glue added to it to fix all the damages I stopped flying it just because the rudder was at full deflection and it was still not flying straight anymore.
It's nearly unbreakable. Or at least it's nearly always fixable.

FT SE5

Flown in March and April '17.

FT SE5 - Jungfernflug
This is the Maiden of my FT SE5 biplane.
Good to have a little helper with you.
But for safety don't forget to activate "throttle hold" with a value of "0" on your remote!

FT SE5 - Between the trees
This is a short and nice video of my FT SE5 biplane.
Many different views.
The rear facing one is the one I like most!

The controllability of my build was not so good. It was much easier to steer my FT Mini Scout through the gap.
The connections to the upper wing are definitely the weakest part of this design. It needed a lot of fixing here.

FT Arrow

This was filmed in May '17.

FT Arrow - Selfie
This is my FT Arrow with its rear selfie stick.
Awesome camera angle and stable flight characteristics.
The only downright is the cg shift and the additional 40g weight in the nose.
