Firewall For Motor

Has anyone else run into the issue that all of your "BEEF" motors don't fit onto the standard firewall? The mount is always a little too big on anything over a 2212. I can, of course, extend the firewall vertically leaving me a little more room for the screws but this may throw off my skewer lines. How is everyone else handling the larger motor mounts on the standard firewalls for swappables? The versa pusher firewall from FT has the same issue.

Thanks.

I haven't had any problems with the suppo beef package. I have the pattern look more like an x than a + and it fit just fine. I did run in to that problem on my storch with a turnigy d3530. I ended up not using motor mount and must bolted strait to the fire wall.

If you don't get them to fit go to hobby lobby and you can find 1/8 plywood in a pack of 4 that are 2 3/4 x 3" and are less than $2.00 then make your own fire wall.
