First build started off GREAT...post Rx bind, fried FC?

Hey everyone!

I had a great time tonight putting together my Gremlin, I hadn't soldered in a while, but all in all things went great, it's a beautiful thing on my desk now, but I REALLY can't wait for it to get into the sky!

After I bound my xm+ to my Q7, the FC lights stopped turning on and I'm unable to view anything in Betaflight--if my very basic, beginner knowledge is correct, the receiver is powered through the FC, so the FC should be ok.....right? Nothing is showing up when I try to connect, it opens up a port and seems to time out and disconnect, no lights are turning on other than the green light on the receiver and a blue and red light on the FPV camera.

Did something get shorted during final assembly? I check continuity all around and it seems nothing is shorted...I just can't seem to figure out where nothing is lighting up on the FC at all.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this a bit, what should I do next?

Thanks for your help! Feels good to be a part of the hobby!

Maybe a solder bridge. I just built the gremlin from a FT kit using their power pack. Everything on the FC is so tiny, I missed a solder bridge. The result was a fried FC. I rebuilt it with a new FC and it’s flying great now.
