Hi people, i am building an ft simple storch (https://www.flitetest.com/articles/ft-simple-storch-build) but since I am in australia I cant access the foam board as light as the stuff in the US (mine is 1.4 times heavier). I have decided to scale up my build by 1.5x and add a larger battery and motor as suggested by this post (https://www.flitetest.com/articles/flitetest-aeroplanes-for-heavy-foamboard), however, I am a noob and dont really know what motor, battery, prop or esc to purchase to suit these new requirements. It would be really appreciated if someone could help me out with some suggestions, thanks.
Here is the list of recomended parts for the original:
MOTOR - Suppo 2217/7 1200kv Brushless Motor (Park 425 equivelant)
ESC (Option 1) - TURNIGY Plush 25amp Speed Controller
ESC (Option 2) - Suppo 18A Brushless ESC
Battery (Option 1) - Turnigy 1800mAh 3s 20C Lipo Pack Battery
(Option 2) - Turnigy 2200mAh 3s 20C Lipo Pack
Prop (Option 1) - Slow Fly 10x4.7 prop 2 - 12"

To begin with, you should assemble the airframe itself in the size that you need. After that, you have to install all the servos and rods. We weigh the model and ask questions - we get recommendations. We are modelers, not predictors...

Your plane will be a bit heavier and have to fly faster, but in the end it should still fly.

Since you're scaling up, a 3536 1200KV motor with a 40A ESC and a 3000-4000mAh 3S or 4S LiPo should work well. Pair it with a 10x5 or 11x5 prop for good thrust. Check local RC shops for availability!
That sounds WAAAAAY overkill.

Kinda sounds like an AI spambot generated those specs doesn't it?
I agree. Poster has all the signs: female name, generic picture that's used in a number of different places on the web, excellent English and grammar but posting from an area know for spam and generic or slightly off advice. So I'm expecting some of these messages to be edited sometime in the future with spam links. Please let the moderators know if you see that happen.

Rechargeable batteries (
Battery (Option 1) - Turnigy 1800mAh 3s 20C Lipo Pack Battery
(Option 2) - Turnigy 2200mAh 3s 20C Lipo Pack)
with a current output of 20C are installed in the transmitters. Such batteries are not suitable for aircraft models with a span of 1m or more. With high current consumption, these batteries swell up. This is the experience of my initial use of LiPo batteries.
