Hm, so camping is on the north side of the field instead of south this year. So the sites closer to the flight line are in the bottom of the map? I ordered the wrong side then. I wanted to get far away from the flight line. Anybody else make that mistake?

Where did you get that info? it would be really bad if everyone had to stare into the sun to fly?

Pretty sure it is laid out the same as the last 10 events

That runway is south of the build tents. It just means that there will no longer be any camping south of the full size runway. That is not the flite line.

If the land south of the runway is not sold more camping may be made available close to flite fest south of the runway.

The flite line is still north of the camping.

Ohhh good! Ok, yeah I forgot there was an actual runway there. Well good, then my spot should be a pretty quiet one hopefully. 👍

Last year I wasn’t allowed in the night before to set up camp as I have done previously, I was told it was become they needed more time to set up due to the additional days, anyone know if they will be back to allowing tent set ups the night before?

There was some confusion last year. It was initially stated that there would be camping the night before. At some point this was changed but not communicated very well.

I made sure to capture the registration page and posted it above. It states camping opens 5pm Wed june 18th.

It "might" be plausible if you don't run AC/generator at night. Primitive camping does not have sound insulation so the noises RVs make keep us tent campers up. That is why there are seprate areas.
