Hi everyone, I hope we can use this thread to post general discussions concerning flite fest 2025.
I have my campsite and am already getting excited for the trip. It's the one time of year where i get to spend three or four days with no responsibility to anyone! I love meeting people from all over and seeing the fun things they are building. I'm hoping to do a few builds this year while at FF25 in addition to the things i'm bringing already. I love watching the night flying even though i can't fly at night myself anymore because my light stigmatism has gotten really bad the last few years. I love cooking dinner with friends and strangers and hearing about the places they fly back at home. Combat is an absolute blast and I really recommend to everyone who tries to fly in every one to sit one or two out and watch because you get to see a lot more going on that way.
If you have never been, here are some things i think are good to know. (please pitch in more stuff in the comments)
The showers are great, bring flip flops...
the breakfast from the church group is pretty good
don't hesitate to ask people around you for advice
don't be afraid to fly if there are other people in the air, but maybe announce if its a sketchy build.
don't get upset if someone runs into your plane outside of combat! Bring the friends you like and the planes you don't!
