As a first timer to Flite Fest and a first time camper, I found it very helpful..
there were all kind of things on there that I had not thought of.

Does any one know if they will have an Ice vendor at Flite Fest???
or will you have to go off base to get that??

In past years, yes, there has been an ice vendor at FF.
Not sure about this year as it is a new location. But t's very likely there will be one there.
There has also been a good selection of food vendors at FF.

There has always been plenty of electricity in the build tents BUT outlets are at a premium.
Be sure to bring a power strip and a short extension cord, 10-20 feet or so. No electricity in the camping area.

What are you preparing for night flying at FliteFest'26? I have used a very old school RMRC Mako in the past and am bringing it back with a seperate BEC for lighting this time and ELRS replacing DSMX. Should help prevent the unplanned landings of the past :ROFLMAO: Also bringing Strix StratoSurfer#1 out of retirement. Have a replacement power pod for it, and will pump some FoamTac in the wing where the prop chopped through during a Failsafe/RTH catastrophy during autolaunch a few years ago. Time to get these birds LIT!

There will be an ice vendor at Flite Fest, as per the norm.
Dustin, I'm sure you're busy! but you may be able to help me with something. Are the campsites in the RV rows touching that are grouped together on the map? Like in RV Comac, are row 5 space C and row 6 space C touching or is there a road or walkway between? Thanks!

Speaking of night flying, I’m in the motel nearby and would like to still participate in night flying. Is there any way for me to do that, since there is a curfew on people who aren’t camping on-site?

Maybe spend one night with a friend on site.

When FF came to Rockdale, TX, there were options for fuel-powered (glow/gas) planes. Will glow/gas be allowed at FF26, or is it strictly electric power?

So, I'm bit concerned about not having my mini bike or electric scooter to get around. I have some relatively mild mobility issues that don't keep me from getting around, but make me pretty miserable if I walk or stand for too long. So I came up with a way to transport my planes and gear around to the build tent and flight line when I don't want to wait on a shuttle or just plan on stopping different places. The seat is mounted to the wagon and swivels 360*. The plane rack is out of my trailer and can moved around as needed on the wagon. I also installed a clip to hold the handle in place so I don't have to fool with it flopping about. Let me know what you think!

I wish that I could still fly at night. The last few years, the lights on the plane have become a big blur and all I see is a shooting star. I still like to watch it though, so I'll be sure to keep an eye out for these birds at night!
