My 9 y/o volunteered at age 7, 8 and 9. Sign up separately and if you'd like to work together just make a note of it on the sign-up sheet.

Tick tick tick...

Who is excited about our first Flite Fest in Texas?

Details are coming together, the Flite Crew line up is being setup but if you're still interested in being part of the "Red Shirts" apply here https://goo.gl/wcvgDJ

- I could use someone in FPV and Flite Line to work with Joshua Orchard.

In the coming days I will start building the position list and schedule for the normal volunteer positions. Tag your buddies and see if any of them are infested in helping out as a volunteer. https://goo.gl/E1KmMe

Thank you and as always if have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Andre.

I've never spent any time at any real flight field... what kind of stuff are you doing if you are on the line?...

Mostly, encouraging proper flight line etiquette. Making sure pilots have spotters, pilots calling out intentions, looking for LOS aircraft, shepherding pilots to pilot stations, and doing inspections of large (sketchy) builds before flight, are some of the highlights. Volunteering at the flight line would be a great place to start but being a FC member would require some experience and comfort at events like this.

When and where do you want us to show up?
Yay! for volunteering! Did you fill out the form from the link in the first post?

There will be email correspondence with a schedule closer to time from Andre. There will be daily volunteer meetings at the event and a dedicated tent/area for the volunteers that will also have the schedule posted.

You will have a blast!
