Flite test BEC giving ~5.8 V?

I got the Flite Test 40A ESC with xt60 ( https://store.flitetest.com/ft-40amp-esc-w-xt60/ ) and I intend to use it to power a raspberry pi (predominantly for use as a flight controller but also for rocketry and other miscellaneous things). I tested the bit that's supposed to output 5v with an analog multimeter and it reportedly is giving ~5.8 volts which I believe would fry my raspberry pi. I don't have ready access to a normal multimeter so I don't know if it's a problem with my analog one. What can I do about this?

Thanks

Sounds like you need a 5v buck converter or BEC. Frequently used to power RXs from the battery power. Also most rx can handle up to 6.2V review the specs on your Rx’s

I have tested 3 ESC at random and are showing 4.98 to 5.02 V on my digital multi meter.
This suggests your BEC is faulty.
As far as I can tell the Flite Test 40A does not have a "selectable" 6V BEC option.
