No one likes rules, but here's a few we can all live by.
(Pre rule) There are no "warnings". If you have done something that demands moderator action, the temporary ban IS THE WARNING.
1) Be nice. This is a beginner friendly community that gives opportunities to the more experienced pilots to give back for the help they received in getting to the level of skill they've reached over their time in the hobby. We're not here to censor your ideas, but we will not tolerate bullying or trolling.
1a) There will be a zero tolerance level for bullying of minors. We are a family friendly forum and we are encouraging young people to get into the hobby. Any behavior that is not in line with that, will receiver moderator action.
2) Do not dismiss a forum user with any variant of "use the search feature". If you can take the time to type that, then take the time to answer properly, or not at all. Providing the answer, and maybe showing with pictures how the search feature works, could be an option.
3) No spam in the general forums. You can use the "Shameless Self Promotion Zone" section to pitch, sell, and beg. Even that section can be abused, but one of the fine moderators here will help direct you if that looks to be a problem.
4) If you're hitting the like button on a post that is abusive, you will receive the same moderation as the person who made the post.

6) If you create a fake account to circumvent the temporary ban, it will become a permanent ban.

All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Flite Test, nor vBulletin Solutions, Inc. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of Flite Test reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any content item for any reason.
