I never got any of my sparrows to fly, but my brother got one of his to fly and it glided a lot better and didn't need much power to fly around.

Garret. Thank you for this feedback! I reduced drag on the arrow and sparrow significantly. I knew something was off but you nailed it. A soon as the east coast gets internet back I'll post the updated files. I'm going to need your opinion but I know youre going to love the changes.

Great news, stringer! We are only offering the skinned versions once they are completed. Do you think people want to have a plain white version?

If you want it white, even though i put hours into that skin for you :p, just go into the model folder - open all the png files, and make them white ... woalla it will be white for you :)

computer illiterate

I'm having trouble (me not the program) getting this figured out. I'm using windows7. I clicked on the Storch, made a file.
go to Phoenix builder, I can find it under "import" click on it then nothing.
I am a complete moron when it comes to computers. I'm lucky to find the power switch. Could someone please explain the process to me like I was a 52 year old who doesn't understand computers? :D
thanks

No need for you to mess with the phoenixbuilder, we did that step for you. As the zips we are releasing is the finished and exported product from phoenixbuilder, you just need to copy the zipped folder to your phoenix rc folder as outlined in the install instructions in the first post of this thread :) (they will not re-import to the builder without the original .modx file) let us know if you still experience issues after following those instructions and we will try troubleshooting to resolve the problem with you!

Just got my new computer (yea!) setup with Phoenix last night. I was very impressed with the bloody wonder. It flys very close to the ones we have built. I think the only difference is ours are in various states of disrepair, so it is hard to compare the two. Thanks for all the hard work on this!

I just tested the arrow and now I can get rid of mine!! Hahaha, It flew perfect. Glide slope was great and so was the full throttle tendencies.

Haha. I'm glad to hear it. Your feedback was invaluable. Is the sparrow about what you'd expect?

Yes it was very nice to fly, as well as the vector, FT3d, bloody wonder, and the sportster. I was wondering if you would be interested in doing some multirotor stuff as well?

Before you redid the arrow I was messing with it in edit on phoenix to move the cg and change the wing area but yours flies much better.

Lol, no the skins are fantastic! I thought for some reason that they were selectable. You never know maybe some FT purists out there would like to see the foam board white, to now brown!

Great job again!
