Have had GREAT results with FlySky FS receiver both 6 & 10 channels with both FlySky & Radiomaster TX16S transmitters. Kinda get comfortable with what works for you and forget all the noise. Some our guys fly ANCIENT transmitter & receiver setups and their planes fly well, too. Again, what you are comfortable using.

I've tried several different transmitters, mostly Spektrum but I do have a Radiomaster T12. I personally am not a huge fan of the T12, it's quite small and I never have gotten comfortable with navigating the menus. I do appreciate the compatibility (though I didn't realize I had to spend an extra $50 for the module at first) however all my recievers are Spektrum so I've only used it with Spektrum recievers anyways... But I haven't had any signal issues with it. I've used Spektrum since I started flying and primarily use my Dx7, the only signal issues I've had were with an OrangeRX rx with a damaged antenna. I recently purchased an Ix20 for my larger models and it's been a fabulous transmitter, no complaints. At the end of the day, the best transmitter is the one that gets you out and flying every day :)
