Flying Cube

Built a few of these over the years, thought I'd do another with the more recent RC gear from todays cheap micro RTFs...even lighter and still works pretty well. I had tried building a micro flying truck, but just couldnt get it to maintain flight, too much drag I think, will have to put something a little more powerful in that one...it drove well enough though at least.

The cube flew about the same as my past ones, it'll start rolling pretty easily if youre too hard on the throttle or steering, but otherwise handles pretty predictably.

If you think those are neat look into the lynchpin project Josh Bardwell promoted for Terrence Howard. I think its a neat idea and an engineering feat to pull off. I think it could be done just not in the time frame they are pushing for.
