FLYSKY IA6X TX AND TURNIGY IA8B RX COMPATIBILITY

Anyone help me, please?

Routinely, I run FlySky Tx and Rx gear, because I'm a skinflint. I've come into possession of Turnigy iA8b receivers. I understand that Turnigy stuff is a re-brand of FlySky equipment. Both (FlySky) Tx and (Turnigy) Rx use the same protocol - AFHDS 2A. It seems that I can get the Rx to bind (the Rx red indicator turns from flashing to steady on spark-up of the Tx in Bind-mode) to the Tx....but servos do not seem to work thereafter.

Any tips/clues to what I am missing?

Or are these brands incompatible?

Thanks in advance, People.

Simon.

Silly me.

I was using a dud servo and swapping it between channel output plugs. Thus 'nothing seemed to work'.

Ooooops.

Out of interest, only one AFDHS 2A Rx will bind to the Tx at any one time. Try to bind a number of them, and the ones not in use seem to lose their bind and need re-doing before use.
