Hi Guys first time here - I need help with a brush motor conversion for any of these tiny coreless motors with the gearboxes. I have the
Flyzone DR1/Albatross/SE5A/Neiuport 17 RTF and I know next to nothing of a powerful upgrade similar in weight brushless option?
Help me please

Are you looking for a brushed motor upgrade or a brushless upgrade? I've done a brushless upgrade on my UMX T-28, but it ended up making it a bit heavier and I don't like it as much as the brushed trojan for backyard flying. It would be much easier to just replace the stock motor.

ok - could you give me an example of both options brushed, and brushless - one problem is there's a Flyzone gearbox type C
for the Neiuport 17 that I can't find anywhere, it's the 1.2 mm shaft - (mine is broken) Thanks again

If you put up a wanted add on rc groups, I bet you could find one. Anyways, the setup from a umx PT-17 Stearman should work nicely in it. Here’s a link to the plane. https://www.horizonhobby.com/umx-pt-17-with-as3x-bnf-eflu3080

I’m not sure what the motor plug is on the flyzone bricks, but if the plug is different you could solder the old plug on the new motor. I don’t have much expierence with the flyzone micros but you should be able to fit a pt-17 motor in there.
