two 3s lips ? why not just use a 6s lipo I mean it would make sense to make a series connection if u want say a 12s or say a 18s lipo but why use 2 3s when u can just use 1 6s and yeah ill try that setup for UR hotliner but for my apex phantom (big monster) ill just see what other people are running on the hjk big monster and ill just use that

EDIT : I have decided on the 4068 2100 kv inrunner motor ,6s lipo ,80 amp esc and a 6x4 propeller for the apex phantom I have chosen this cause unlike the big monster my apex wont be as heavy as a carbon bird it will be pretty lightweight so this will probably be powerful enough

150 will still be hard to get, but out of a slight dive it should do it.

Now thinking about it, the hotliner needs to be a high wing, for stability reasons. My Mustang wouldn’t fly because of too thin of an airfoil, and no dihedral. But a high wing would soon fix those issues.

and also u keep saying that that 150 will be hard to reach with legit any setup I say im gonna use can u recommend anything and I know what u will reply with "idk im more used to the high rpm small prop setup" I know but what high rpm motor and small prop would u recommend I already know that u recommended the 4068 inrunner for urs but what do u recommend for mine, mine will only be a little bigger then urs

For starters drag increases multiple times as the speed goes up (algorithmic function not simple multiple). Then there's response time, and being "ahead" of airplane. Yes you can dive it, but eventually the angle of falling will get so steep that it becomes a lost cause.

alright this is what iv got so far note that this design isn't final and still needs improvement and I still haven't designed the wings or the horizontal or vertical stabilizers cause im to lazy to do so but ill get to it soon this is also one of my first airplanes that I have designed myself usually I just get plans online on these forums for free but this time iv decided to try to design something myself !

They have airfoils. Fully symmetrical or semi-symmetrical.
