The first plane I did fpv in was the Simple Scout...It's a good choice because it's slower..Not as fast as the Millennium Flerken

And btw what is the superior way to paint foamboard should one use packing tape and then spray paint over it or should one just use iron on film ?

I used to use spray paint and packing tape but then the paint wouldn't stick.

Not yet as I have a drone....But I accidentally fried the FC a bit back so while I am waiting for funds I might put it on my XL Scout and go for a long range mission....

Use oil based Minwax..Put on a couple coats of that and then you will have no problem with the paper wrinkling and the paint will stick just fine. I painted this one doing that:

yeah but I want to put something like tape over the plane so I can cover up any and all gaps I might just use some plastic primer over the tape so it sticks !
