what if..........someone.........where to build a carbon airplane like the big monster using colored carbon...............

yeah but I want to put something like tape over the plane so I can cover up any and all gaps I might just use some plastic primer over the tape so it sticks !

Or just sand the tape with something like a 600 grit sand paper as the minwax won't stick to just plain tape anyways....

hmm using a mold made out of foam........

using styrofoam molds like a lot of other people building with carbon

And also is there ea difference between foam boards ? I just found out every foam board is different and weighs different didn't know that

yeah, Walmart foam is heavier (don't think you've got walmart where you're at) But I'd recommend Dollar Tree or Flite Test Foam. (Both made by Adam's plastics)

I don't know if they have Dollar stores here you live but just get the adams Readi board from there.

I believe they use Iron on films, but paint would work just as well if it got clearcoated.

Ill use some iron on film for mine I don't wanna use paint as I change my mind on the color of things quite often.

Im somewhat of a artist and like to make my planes look unique as u could probably guess from the F22.

Most paint the molds before laying in the material for the part. It becomes molded into the CF. Some lay in decals.

Not if you're using molds. Much easier to do it before the lay in, and more durable. It'll be different if your using vacuum bags.
