That is probably because it is a little heavier. So the g force pushes it a little harder with more force into the bank so it doesn´t loose that much altitude.

At least thats what I thought could be reasonably true.

The p51 is about 150g lighter than the funbat, so I don't think it's that. I think it's an aerodynamics thing.
