Great video! I can imagine it being really hard to follow another plane via FPV. At least to keep it on screen isn´t that easy.

I was flying the white plane

One of the challenges that Corey, the tricopter pilot mentioned is that the white plane flew so slow that it was hard to track

Ahh okay.
I thought it was you Anyway, it seems that following a slow plane should be more easy because you don´t have to lean forward too much to get into slow forward flight with a Tri. So that would affect the camera too much.
Very awesome would be a tilt mechanism for the cam connected to a gyro just to keep the picture transmitted always leveled into one direction!
