Help! FPV Camera/VTX for FatShark Teleporter V4?

I have a FatShark Teleporter V4 FPV headset from a Nano QX. I'm hoping to put an FPV system on a plane, and I'd like to use the headset I have with a new camera setup. I don't think it's possible to remove the AIO camera from the quad, so I'm hoping you guys might be able to help with finding a new camera and VTX!

The drone was this:

And these are the goggles in question:

I also found this bundle (which I don't need, but had some useful info):
https://spektrumrc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdId=SPMVS2500
But this is the camera from the bundle: (Might it work?)
https://www.ebay.com/i/223171322512...-zYO_5jNIu7Cmx7cvkCI66Zw515eVVGRoCkFEQAvD_BwE

I know absolutely nothing about FPV, but I'd really like to learn. So any information is greatly appreciated!

Oh, also, it says you need a HAM license to operate FPV equipment. I don't have one at the moment, is that a problem?

Looking at the manual for the goggles any All-in-one FPV camera/VTX system should work such as this

The goggles are 7 channel only, all the frequency's are on band F from the camera/VTX I linked above.

In regards to the HAM license, that may depend on the area your flying in but generally you don't need one for anything rated at 25 mW.

Cool! Thanks!

With regards to HAM licenses, there is no wattage limits. If you are supposed to have one, you are supposed to have one.

It’s not a hard test to get; I studied for a month by reading practice tests, and even took the test for free thanks to Laurel VEC testing offering free tests. Now that I have it, it’s good for ten years.

As for a camera and video transmitter, pretty much anything that says it’s got Fatshark or Raceband bands will be compatible with the Fatshark Teleporters.

this is true for HAM's as you should know and only be using the best power to suit you4r needs not just super high out puts automatically.

That said for non HAM's 25 mw F.C.C. certified is the only legal use which amounts to like 5mw or less "radiated" power at the antenna which gives you the range about the same distance you can spit your bubble gum. You also can not use all the channels in the bands designated for use in FPV.

A lot of the aios these days are shipping "Locked" that set power to that 25mw and block unusable frequencies until you "Unlock" them thus being your statement of being HAM certified and knowledgeable of legal use.

Here in Canada, 25mW and under no HAM license is needed. I was under the impression that is the same in the US.
nope. There is a reason the manufacturers put that HAM license required label on their equipment - it frees them of liability if you are caught flying without one and legal action is taken against you.

There are a lot of people out there that won’t do it, but it’s really not that hard, the license is good for 10 years, and if you find the right testing setups (like those for Laurel VEC) they can be FREE - otherwise, I think it’s only like, $10-$15 in the U.S.

Now, you neighbors to the north of us, legalities may be different, but those of us here in the States should at least try to play by the rules instead of making it harder for those of us who are trying to enjoy the hobby.

Yes I fully agree on this, I will be getting mine despite not having a need for more than 25mW. It's easy to acquire here in Canada also.
