FPV for beginners - setting up plane, flight controller and Inav - My new RC Adventure Part 2

Here's part two of my quest to get into FPV flying with a fixed wing aircraft and it's been a much harder journey than I anticipated! Even the simple task of connecting my SpeedyBee F405 Wing flight controller board to the PC didn't work. Perseverance and Google helped. A beginners look at FPV , Inav and installing a flight controller in a small aircraft.

Part 3 coming soon shows my 2 unsuccessful trips to my flying strip where I didn't even get off the ground. Did I get lucky the 3rd time?

Thanks mate, was hoping sharing my experience might be useful to someone. It has been a challenge for my old brain, but satisfying when you get somewhere. I had loiter working on my day 3 of going to the strip after 2 fails and was pleased with that. Have now managed to get 3 modes working on my 6 channel tx/receiver by using the 3 way switch, so have RTH as well as Arm and Loiter. Still need to test RTH, but weather has turned windy again. 😪
