OK, so me having to figure EVERYTHING out about stuff, I was OVERCOMPLICATING a simple thing.

Turns out I just needed to triple press the return (center) button on the headset to set the neutral position of the goggles after powering up. LOL :ROFLMAO:

Works like a charm every time!

So the XF Robot headtracker and C-20 series gimbals are what Caddx is using for their headtracking solution. They have integrated the headtracker into their headset(s) and video signal so you don't require a separate TX/RX path. No funky patch cord from your headset to your TX, no need for extra pwm channels, etc. The C-20 gimbals have a 2 channel pitch/yaw gimbal which Caddx does not offer. Caddx only has the roll/yaw variant (think ground vehicles). The C-20 also supports non HD cameras.

There headtracker can be shipped with it's own RF link and comes with the upgrade dongle, which caddx charged for.

New firmware season. Time to update all my Walksnail gear before the flying season is in full gear! Rather do it now, than in the middle of the good weather season.

39.44.15-2026.03
New Features

1.Added support for Avatar GT2 air unit.
2.Added 2000mW_Auto option to address the issue of Signal oversaturation and low signal bars at close range (supported only by GT/GT2 air units).
3.Added Avatar VRX background image feature, supports custom replacement (name a 1920×1080 resolution JPG photo as "fpv_new_no_signal_bg_1920x1080", place it in the VRX SD card, and reboot).
4.Added Avatar auto channel feature.

Modifications / Optimizations
1.Fixed abnormal channel setting issue in high bitrate mode.
2.Optimized the issue where flight controller OSD does not refresh when signal is weak (requires both air unit and ground unit to be updated to the latest version; otherwise, OSD may fail to display).
3.Changed the ground unit single-cell voltage alarm threshold to 3.6V.
4.Fixed abnormal low-temperature display and false high-temperature alarm on Avatar Moonlight VTX below 0°C (requires both air unit and ground unit to be updated to the latest version; otherwise, abnormal temperature values may appear).
5.Fixed OSD interface lag issue when performing Stick Commands on the remote controller, as well as the overlapping horizontal line OSD display issue.
6.Fixed HDMI output incompatibility between Goggles X and Ascent VRX.
7.Updated OSD font library.

Known Issue
Moonlight recordings in version 39.44.15 do not support .osd files. This is expected to be fixed in the next version.

EDIT: Looks like I already have the latest headtracking and gimbal firmware. Just VRX/VTX updates this go round.
