I decided to build the mini FT-22 for an FPV project and wanted to share some build techniques that I think many here will find helpful. The may not be new to everyone but really come in handy.
For the leading edge of the wings I took the barbecue skewers that were in the kit and hot glued then into the leading edge of the foam board wing. If there are any gaps they can be pushed down with an iron.
On the trailing edge I again used the iron on high heat and slowly beveled the top and bottom edges to meet up in the center of the foam board.
More details can be seen in the video below. I unfortunately had a sad ending for this beautiful little jet. It would have made a super fun LOS plane.
