FT Aura 5 - 3 Channel set up on Tiny Trainer

Hello,

I am setting up a Mini Tiny Tutor with the FT Aura 5, starting with a 3 channel configuration.

My plan is to plug the rudder servo into the aileron port. This makes sense for transmitter set up (primary turn control on the right stick), but the Aura will be using the rudder to correct the roll axis, and no correction for the yaw axis.

This makes sense to me with the dihedral trainer wing.

Am I thinking about this correctly?

Correct this will work as you intend, the rudder has significant effect on the roll axis.
