After owning my ft b25 for a while i decided to mod it giving it flaps and retractable gear. Was this a bad idea?
(i am in desperate help)

Just take into consideration that a foam board plane is fundamentally light weight so adding extra electric servos will have a distinct effect on the pane's power to weight and thus the way it performs.
I would add flaps first as these will be the lightest to do and see what the effect is. Then decide if it makes sense to go for the likely heavier set of 3 retracts.

The flaps are in but retracts are more difficult to fit in the fuselage.
