FT Bronco Kit upgrade?

As I continue to be lazy, I ordered another kit from Flite Test. This, the OV-10 Bronco. Not my first rodeo with the Bronco, but the kit has a number of pieces of wood that appear to be spar material in addition to the foam boar spar in the kit.

My presumption is that these are "reinforcements" and do not replace the spar. Anyone who has had a recent Bronco kit, please chime in. Spring is right around the corner and I NEED to get another Bronco ready to fly.

Thanks.

So I just watched the build video again and Peter does not use any reinforcements on the wing. So what are the wood pieces for? Fabulous prize for the winner 🤣

I understand that some kits come with a generic assortment of parts, including some that your specific model may not use. So if it’s not in the video, then it’s probably just an extra bit. Those paint sticks are useful in a lot of models though, so nice to have on hand.

I have those laying around after building my bronco last winter, and one other plane which was released very recently but no mention in the video.. Wasn't sure what to do with them on my other kit either.

Is it the paint sticks used on the earlier SBK's? Might be from one of the short kits. Or just a packaging mistake.
I agree with Dan, pics will help.
Look anything like the large parts in this?

Exact match! What is the purpose of the "paint sticks"?

Back when I bought mine, they were just stuffing the baggie with universal parts for all their kits, because a hundred wooden strips were cheaper than 2 dozen different parts bags. I think the explorer used those, bad case of CRS lately
